Let us take a step back to look at last six months and see where we have come to as a society. First of all there was/is COVID. I won't bother writing anything about it. I will simply state some conclusions You cannot eat your money, you need real food All the weapons in the world cannot save you from COVID You need a balanced society, one that has engineers, architects, school teachers, fire fighters, carpenters, masons... you get it Driving out the "non techies" of the society to perimeter and away is NOT a good idea Unfortunately in the Silicon Valley bubble, this is exactly what we have created. Our school teachers, masons, fire fighters, gardeners .... you name it .... are "non techies". So they are driven out to fringes. Ok, let us take a look at second event. A dry storm hit Silicon Valley, which caused fires. So what are conclusions? Same as before. Replace COVID with FIRE. You cannot eat your money, you need real food All the weapons in the world can...
